Who We Are
We are an international online Quran academy made up of certified Huffaz, Tajweed scholars, female Alimahs, and child pedagogy experts. Our story began in 2011 when our founders, a group of experienced Quran educators in Bahawalpur, Pakistan, observed the acute shortage of qualified, English-speaking Quran teachers available to Muslim families living in Western countries. Many immigrant parents struggled with long commutes to weekend madrasahs, overcrowded classes with little individual attention, or instructors who lacked patience with English-dominant children.
Starting with just five dedicated instructors and twenty students in 2011, Iqra Quran Center built a pioneering digital classroom model focused entirely on 1-on-1 private recitation, structured Tajweed milestones, and strict child safeguarding. By 2016, we expanded to dedicated female faculty for sisters and young girls. In 2020, we launched our specialized neuro-inclusive program for children with Autism, ADHD, and Dyslexia.
Today, Iqra Quran Center has conducted over 120,000 live class hours, serving thousands of families while remaining true to our founding principle: authentic Quranic recitation with patient, individual guidance for every soul.
